ESOP

ESOP is software developed for Component Design and Analysis based in MS Excel®. ESOP is an incredibly flexible software package which can communicate with ROBOT Millennium via the Robot Open Standard (ROS). Data can be transferred from ROBOT Millennium for design of Steel Moment Connections etc or sent back from ESOP for model creation etc.

Open Standard and Integration with Existing Spreadsheets

Many modules of ESOP will communicate with ROBOT Millennium - the application for structure analysis.

The communication may have different forms :

• Calculation modules will automatically capture the data from ROBOT Millennium (e.g. data concerning geometry, materials, sections, loads, internal forces...)
• The modules may function as the generators of completed models for ROBOT Millennium (e.g. generator of frames with the elements of variable section, combinations generator, generator of typical solutions of static models, ...)
• The modules may extend the possibilities of results analysis of ROBOT Millennium (e.g. new types of results set-ups, additional results for non-linear problems...)
• The modules may extend the calculation capacity of ROBOT Millennium (e.g. open beams in a structure, steel column bases...)
• Full set of tools exist for users to easily extract data from ROBOT Millennium, such as bar data, nodal data, forces, loads etc.
